Live Music with The CJE Experience ( Chuck Johnson)

Charles Johnson (A.K.A The CJE) is a Richmond, BC based solo singer/guitarist/songwriter who performs a variety of genres (rock/folk/country/reggae/r&b). He brings a high energy and excitement to his performances.
His setlists include both cover material as well as original material.
He started performing in his native Virginia in the United States in R & B/Dance/Rock bands as well as performing as a solo artist.
His influences range from Al Green to Bob Marley to Prince to Chris Cornell of Soundgarden.
He also did a tenure as the touring Guitarist/Vocalist for Contemporary Jazz artist, Najee, as well as performing on the track “Biggest Part Of Me” from Najee’s 2015 album, “You, Me and Forever.”

As a new Canadian Permanent Resident, Charles is excited to begin his journey as a solo performer in the greater Vancouver, BC area. He is also in the middle of recording his first full-length album to be released on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon and other streaming platforms.

As Charles himself puts it, “I’m ready to make some magic happen”.
